ryanair_logo_2 Ryanair announced this week that it will open 39 new routes to and from the Canary Islands starting from October 2009. There are 15 new flights to Lanzarote from airports such as Bournemouth, Bristol, Glasgow and Liverpool. Along with the announcement was the release of 20,000 fare free seats, if you book before the 5th August – you will still need to pay the taxes and luggage allowance, the available flights are between 26th October until 19th December.

British Dentist in Tías

Hi Denise,

All the dentists in Lanzarote are private, there is no equivalent of national health here for teeth but there are a few that speak English. The most popular would be the British dentist in Tías, there can be a wait for treatment. The telephone for the British Dental Clinic, Camino Los Alijibes 20, Tías is 928 83 35 73 or emergency mobile 616 815 293. There is also a good one in Costa Teguise, on the first floor above the Correos (post office)in C.C. Las Maretas, their telephone number is 928 346 705. I am told that many of the Arrecife ones speak English and even have Playstation or DVD's to watch for patients while they work!!

Good luck and let me know which one you use so I can recommend on to others.

Thanks

Julie
