New British Primary School, Playa Blanca

Queens School A brand new primary school has opened the doors for registrations for the academic year 2009-2010. The Queen’s School is situated at C/ Costa Papagayo in Playa Blanca and it will be the first private bilingual primary school in the South of the island. The school will attract both English and Spanish pupils and will be following the standard British curriculum. Parents of children aged 3,4 and 5 years of age are invited to contact the school (open from 9am to 1pm) for more information for classes starting in September.

Hello, me and my partner are

Hello, me and my partner are thinking of moving to playa blanca and we have a 2 1/2 year old son and will be 3 in December when would it be better to enrol him in the school? This September or next?

Hi Danielle

I can't recall if a child has to be 3 in the September to start school or during the first term and now the schools are closed until September to check. If he is too young for school he can start at a Guardaria (nursery)this year, they take babies from 3 months to school age.
