Endesa, Electric Company

From the 1st November 2008 Endesa switched their billing from bi-monthly to monthly for your electricity supply. Your invoices will alternate, the first month will be an actual reading of the meter and the second month an estimation, then actual, then estimate etc.

You can also now register online so that your invoices can be received by email, to do this have a copy of your latest bill and visit www.endesaonline.com, underneath the login box is alta en oficina online, press this, then select ‘No dipones de código de activación’ and press alta oficina online, select if you are the owner of the property which is ‘Soy propietario de viviendas’ and aceptar. You will then need a copy of your electric invoice to input the name, contrato number, last factura number, name, NIE/F or passport, contact number, email address and choice of username and password. Note, You may need to enter your surname twice for it to be accepted, just repeat it again in the second box.

Please note that if you select to receive your invoices by email, a copy will not be sent in the post to the property.

Endesa have two offices in Lanzarote, one in Arrecife in the same road as Eurospar, just a bit further along heading towards Arrecife, just after the Shell garage, and on the main avenida in Tias. They are open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

If you are changing the titular (name) or have bought a property, please take your escritura, identification, NIE/F number, bank account details and contact telephone number with you.

If you have an outstanding bill it can’t be paid at the Endesa offices, you need to pay at your bank or local post office before your service is cut off. If you don’t have a copy of the bill, you can ask for a copy of the facturas pendiente (oustanding invoices) these will have a special bar code on for you to then go and pay. If you have had your service disconnected, take the copy of the receipts back to the Endesa office and they will switch you back on within 24 hours or if there has been a change of name at the same time it will take up to 3 days. WARNING! If you have an older property - 20 years or more and your electric is disconnected, you will require a new boletin to get switched on again.

If you speak Spanish, it is possible to pay your outstanding bills on the telephone, call 902 307 308 with a copy of your invoice for reference and your debit/credit card.

invoices

Why do i not receive any invoices? The last one I received was for period 26/02/2009 - 27/03/2009.This followed my visit to your office in Arrecife when you printed off approx 20 back copies for me.Since the above date nothing although i know bills are paid by direct debit from my bank.
Can you please check and reply

Talk to Endesa :)

Hi

You are not communicating with Endesa here but Estupendo. You should be receiving a copy of your invoice by post unless you have signed up to the online system where Endesa are emailed automatically or you can download them when you log in online.

Thanks

Julie

Logging in to Endesa website

Hi Julie

just wondered if you could help. Like a fool I didn't record my user name or password when I registered in 2009. So I've never been able to log on. When I click the Forgotten password button, it invites me to enter my NIF (which is an NIE)and email, then it tells me that these dont correspond to any registered user. It's driving me mad as I know they have my email address (they send me emails) and the NIF - it's straight from my paper bills, though it seems I should enter it without the leading X as it won't accept it otherwise. I've tried emailing for help but just seem to get standardised replies. I can't re-register as the contract number is already recorded. I understand a bit of Spanish but I'd have to be really brave to ring them.

Do you have any ideas about logging in to their website?

thanks

Vicky

Sorted

Sorted - I found a trick on another forum. Call it a pasport number but then enter the NIE - and it worked. Sanity is restored

Same Problem

Glad you've got it sorted, I had the same problem a couple of months ago and was going around in circles trying to access the information!
