I’ve had some form of two wheeled transport ever since we moved to the island. Motorbikes are hugely practical here – wet days are rare, and they make parking in Arrecife or Puerto del Carmen dead easy.

The Cabildo has finally approved plans to increase the size of the harbour to better accommodate the two ferries which regularly make the trip to Fuerteventura. The project will add a further 55,000 Square meters to the southern side of the harbour, and increase the parking areas and commercial areas.
