We had a fantastic meal on Friday night in Costa Teguise at the newly opened Tandoori Spice on Avenida Del Mar opposite the Las Coronas apartments. I can honestly say it was the best Indian meal I have found locally and would recommend lovers of Indian food to give it a try. The female cochineal insect is imobile and feeds off the prickly pear cactus, once fertilised she will give birth to nymphs who are protected from water and sun by a waxy white coating. The insects are harvested at about 3 months old, they have to be picked off the cactus and placed in bags ready for drying to produce the bright red dye.

There have been four concerts in Los Cuevas de los Verdes this month and several of the Estupendo team attended one a couple of weeks ago. We were treated to some interesting classical trumpet and piano music, and all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere in the caves.
